This TIGER Leadership Development Task Force is charged with completing an assessment of nursing leadership development needs.  Based on information collected from the TIGER Informatics Competencies team, AONE Technology Survey, and other documents, a survey was developed for distribution to Nursing Leaders at health care organizations and academic institutions.  After receiving feedback the survey was reworked and was shortened and questioned directed more towards the information we would like.

 

Please give us additional feedback. In order to provide the feedback become familiar with the initial survey, and then open the word document to review the revised survey based on our feedback.

 

This survey is still a draft as we could really use your feedback and input on its design.  Attached is a link to the survey--please try to take the survey yourself, we can discard the results before sending out to our target markets:

Questions were analyzed and re-created to be more pointed from the initial survey. The changes reduced the number of questions queried to 22.

 Please continue to provide feedback on this survey by April 3rd 2008 by sending an email back to either myself (Karen Carroll at kcarroll@childrensmemorial.org) or Donna at donna@tigersummit.com. 

 

Specifically, we have a few questions that we'd like input from you:

 

1.  The survey is divided up into categories of questions: 

a) Basic computer and technology competencies

b) Communication strategies

c) Project management

d) Change management

e) Demographic information

 

 

Are the questions that populate these areas pointed enough and worded succinctly enough to provide valuable data on the areas mentioned above.

 

 

Any and all feedback is welcome and appreciated.  With your help, we can better target our nursing leaders to identify the areas of leadership development most needed. We will continue to update and post on this wiki.
